Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a Global Industrial Engineer for Control Engineering to drive industrialization and implementation of control systems across Electronics and Micro-Assembly manufacturing worldwide.

You will work with R&D, Industrialization and Production to introduce new products, develop automation solutions and ensure scalable, standardized processes across global sites. The role requires hands-on PLC programming experience and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years in technical or production project coordination within manufacturing.
Experience with electronics manufacturing (SMT, reflow) and control systems.

Responsibilities

Lead industrialization and deployment of control systems for new products and processes.
Collaborate with R&D, Industrialization, Production and suppliers for manufacturability.
Develop and implement control systems for assembly, testing, dispensing, screwing, riveting automation.
Coordinate equipment development, testing, validation, and commissioning.
Troubleshoot and improve existing control systems and equipment.
Support production, maintenance and operations with technical expertise.
Drive automation, standardization and continuous improvement across sites.
Manage budgets, timelines and deliverables, ensuring compliance with standards.
