Job summary

Air Liquide Global Engineering & Construction Solutions Poland seeks a Material Manager to control the material flow on global construction sites, ensuring timely delivery, quality and budget compliance. Based in Poland, you will report to the Discipline Manager, Construction and work on sites worldwide with high mobility.

Key tasks include coordinating with procurement, expediting, shipping, and suppliers; receiving and issuing materials; maintaining documentation and safety standards; leading

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant construction experience.
• Proficient in construction management tools, material handling, site logistics, scheduling, productivity, and rigging.
• Knowledge of international and company codes, contractual requirements, and formal business writing.
• Fluent English and strong safety mindset (HSES).

Responsibilities

• Control the complete material flow on site to ensure materials are available on time, in the required quality and budget.
• Assist in planning and managing site infrastructure, warehouses, lay-down areas, and scrap disposal.
• Coordinate with procurement, expediting, shipping and suppliers for incoming/outgoing materials.
• Receive and issue materials to subcontractors with proper documentation and quality certificates.
• Identify surplus, missing, short, or damaged materials per Field QC procedures.
• Monitor site material handling performance with a focus on safety and erection schedules.
• Prepare weekly/monthly status reports and contribute to progress and close-out reports.
• Lead and manage the site material team and subcontractors with regular reviews.
