Job summary

Air Liquide Engineering & Construction is seeking an experienced Site QA/QC Manager to oversee the quality lifecycle on a world-scale construction project in Poland. You will guard engineering excellence across civil, mechanical, piping and E&I works performed by contractors at the site.

The role is fully field-based, requiring strong leadership, adherence to international codes, and collaboration with HSE and construction teams to ensure zero-defect execution in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Metallurgy/Industrial Eng or equivalent.
• 8+ years QA/QC on large-scale industrial construction sites.
• AWS-CWI/CSWIP 3.1 certification; familiarity with NDT methods.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage and audit the site Project Quality Plan (PQP) and ITPs.
• Oversee daily field inspections for mechanical, structural, civil and E&I activities.
• Manage welding engineering compliance (WPS/PQR) and NDT tracking.
• Enforce oxygen-cleanliness and cryogenic insulation standards.
• Lead pre-inspection alignment meetings with subcontractors and witness hold points.
• Issue and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and drive CAPA.
• Review and validate contractor Quality Turnover Packages (TOP) and As-Built docs.
