Job summary

Hitachi Europe GmbH in Poland is seeking a Lead Investigator to set and drive global corporate investigation standards, develop training for investigative teams, and monitor progress across the organization.

You will design standards, deliver training, track cases, analyze outcomes, and report risks to senior leadership. This role is mostly remote with occasional office days, requiring 10–15 years in investigations, a Bachelor’s degree, CFE certification, and strong knowledge of FCPA and GDPR.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of investigative experience with a focus on global compliance.
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or equivalent certification required.
• Deep knowledge of international compliance frameworks (e.g., FCPA, GDPR).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce global investigation standards.
• Design and deliver training programs for junior investigators.
• Conduct follow-ups on ongoing investigations and track cases.
• Analyze investigation outcomes, identify trends, and report risks.
• Advise on best practices and improvements across business units.
• Collaborate with regulators and law enforcement for follow-through.
