Job summary

State Street Corporation is seeking a Project Manager to lead client-driven change initiatives in the fund industry. The role emphasizes managing scope, timeline and budget while coordinating deliverables and stakeholder communications across internal and external teams.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years in client-facing roles in financial services, strong communication, and a proactive, independent work style with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in client-facing roles in the mutual funds industry.
• Proven experience in managing projects or coordinating deliverables within financial services.
• Experience in client-facing roles and ability to engage with external clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage all key project areas, including scope, schedule, risks, issues and mitigation actions.
• Lead workstream engagement, work planning, scoping and budget development in line with the engagement strategy and agreed deliverables.
• Manage communication and relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including Clients and Sponsors.
• Host and facilitates client-facing online meetings, including project status updates, working sessions and issue-resolution discussions.
• Prioritize and manage time effectively to support multiple projects and tasks in parallel.
• Ensure adherence to State Street’s internal project management methodologies, standards and audit/compliance requirements.
• Provide project reporting in line with stakeholder needs and agreed governance requirements.
• Collaborate with other PMO team members on local PMO processes.
