Zusammenfassung

Hempel A/S is seeking an AP Accountant to ensure accurate and timely processing of PO and non-PO invoices, review vendor statements, and support daily finance operations. You will collaborate with teams across the business in a global context, driving process improvements and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

In this role, you will manage invoice processing, support month-end activities, and perform reconciliations, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in Accounts Payable, accounting or finance.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Strong analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Process and post PO and non-PO invoices in line with company policies and accounting standards.
• Follow up on invoice approvals and resolve discrepancies with stakeholders.
• Review postings for accuracy across cost centers, business units and VAT codes before month-end close.
• Monitor vendor statements and payment reminders and resolve outstanding issues.
• Support timely invoice approvals and respond to queries from internal departments and vendors.
• Perform monthly AP to GL reconciliations, accrual postings and currency revaluations.
