Job summary

BSI seeks a Global Quality & Accreditation AI Regulatory & Certification Lead for Europe/UK/US, homebased with travel. This is a one-year fixed term contract.

You will lead regulatory and accreditation activities for the AI certification body worldwide, drive conformity assessment activities under EU AI Regulations, and ensure policies and documentation meet AI regulatory obligations. The role offers international exposure, ongoing professional development, and a competitive rewards package,

Qualifications

• BSc degree or higher in AI, Engineering, IT, QA or equivalent.
• At least four years post-graduate experience in conformity assessment or related fields, with AI experience.
• Experience with AI lifecycle, quality and regulatory aspects of AI products.
• Strong interpersonal skills, especially communication and influencing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI regulatory and certification activities globally within ISO17021/17065/17025 frameworks.
• Develop and maintain conformity assessment activities for EU AI regulations and related standards.
• Ensure policies and documentation meet latest AI regulatory obligations.
• Ensure NB, AI Services and AIMS personnel perform at high expertise levels.
• Provide policy input on AI technical and management systems assessments.
• Represent BSI in AI events, forums and working groups.
