Job summary

Neurons Lab is seeking an experienced AI governance consultant to lead executive governance training for financial institutions, focusing on EU/UK AI Act obligations and risk controls. Role spans governance workshops, risk assessment design, and regulatory documentation for high‑risk use cases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in AI governance, model risk, or regulatory compliance for financial institutions.
• Experience designing and delivering executive training or advisory for senior clients.
• Experience working with legal teams on AI/tech regulation; legal qualification not required.
• Independent contractor / consulting experience; comfortable with senior client-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver executive AI governance sessions (London in-person; other sessions elsewhere) covering AI Act obligations and timelines.
• Design and run hands-on risk-identification exercises using client artefacts; redesign workflows and forms.
• Define per-project role classifications (provider/deployer/contractor) and assess requirements for disclosure, logging, oversight.
• Standardize and maintain governance assets library (self‑assessment, system card, annex); assist Legal with contract updates.
