Job summary

HRK S.A. in Poland is seeking a GL Accountant to join our finance team in a dynamic, international environment. You will perform day-to-day General Ledger activities, post journal entries, accruals and provisions, and support closing processes.

Qualifications

• 1+ year GL accounting experience
• Knowledge of accounting processes and month-end closing

Responsibilities

• GL daily activities (General Ledger / R2R)
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals
• Support month/quarter/year-end closing
• Balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis
• Assist in preparing financial reports
• Ensure accuracy of accounting data
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders
• Assist internal/external audits

Job description

For one of our clients, an international organization operating in a dynamic business environment, we are currently looking for a GL Accountant to join the finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Performing day-to-day activities within the General Ledger / Record-to-Report area
• Preparing and posting journal entries, accruals and provisions
• Supporting month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis
• Supporting the preparation of financial reports
• Ensuring accuracy and completeness of accounting data
• Cooperating with internal stakeholders and other finance teams
• Supporting internal and external audits
• Participating in process improvements and standardization initiatives

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of professional experience in General Ledger / GL accounting
• Practical knowledge of accounting processes and month-end closing activities
• Experience working with SAP
• Good command of English, minimum B2 level
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Accuracy, attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
