Job summary

PwC Polska is seeking an Internal Controls Senior Consultant with German to support internal controls testing for business and IT controls. You will work across territories on international engagements, mentor junior colleagues, and act as a senior reviewer ensuring high-quality delivery and clear stakeholder communication in both German and English.

The role blends risk management with process optimization, including automation and AI-based testing approaches, and offers a hybrid work model

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in risk management, internal control testing, SOX, or internal audit.
• Fluency in German and English (C1) enabling effective communication with stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks and risk management principles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver internal controls activities, including design and operating effectiveness testing for business and IT controls.
• Collaborate with PwC teams across territories on international engagements.
• Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing within multi-location teams.
• Act as a senior team member ensuring high-quality delivery and client discussions in German and English.
