Job summary

PwC Polska is seeking an Internal Controls Senior Consultant with German to join the MSO Internal Control Testing team in a hybrid role. You will lead design and operating effectiveness testing for business and IT controls, collaborating with PwC teams across territories and mentoring junior staff.

The role requires 4–5 years in risk management or internal controls, fluent German and English (C1), and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• At least 4–5 years of experience in risk management, internal control testing, SOX, or internal audit.
• Fluency in German and English (C1) for stakeholder communications.
• Knowledge of internal control frameworks and SOX requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver internal controls activities including design effectiveness assessments, walkthroughs, and operating effectiveness testing for business and IT controls.
• Support internal controls projects across territories and contribute to international engagements.
• Act as a senior team member ensuring high-quality delivery and coordinating tasks.
• Serve as a key contact for client stakeholders, presenting testing results in German and English.
