Job summary

Hitachi Energy Services Sp. z o.o. in Krakow, Poland is offering a paid internship in procurement and logistics.

The role involves supporting the procurement team, learning SAP, and coordinating with internal stakeholders across Europe. Flexible hours and the option to work remote or in the office are available. Ideal candidates are students in 1st–4th year, eager to learn supply chains, fluent in Polish, German, and English (B2+), and with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Student at a higher education institution (1–4th year).
• Willingness to learn about supply chains and logistics (no prior experience required).
• Fluent in Polish, German and English (B2+).
• Proactive, organized, with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Support the team in initiating orders in the system, confirm deliveries with suppliers, monitor and track orders per requirements.
• Data entry and data verification tasks.
• Communicate with suppliers, buyers, technicians, project managers and planners via email and phone.
• Assist with more complex orders on international projects after training; help verify invoices and collaborate with Finance; refresh contracts; observe and learn negotiation basics.
• Learn to use the SAP system.
