Job summary

LEO Pharma is seeking an Operational Purchaser with German in the Gdansk area to help colleagues obtain the right goods and services, through efficient, compliant processes and strong customer focus.

You will support requisitioners, manage purchase orders, evaluate quotes, and collaborate with Sourcing teams to optimize purchasing channels, in a global context and bilingual setup (German/English).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a similar field.
• Experience in a global organization, preferably within procurement or customer service.
• Knowledge of business processes and an ability to apply procedures accurately in day-to-day work.
• Knowledge of SAP and ticketing system would be an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and German.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing shopping carts to ensure correct product categories, preferred suppliers, prices, agreements, and catalogue availability.
• Managing and supporting purchase order execution, including catalogue-related activities.
• Collecting and evaluating supplier quotes in line with procurement procedures and proposing options to the business.
• Creating work orders and supporting sourcing activities in collaboration with Sourcing teams and Category Managers.
• Supporting end users in German and English by guiding them on purchasing procedures and handling supplier-related complaints.
