Job summary

Pocketsquare in Warsaw is seeking an AP/AR Accountant with German to join our international team. The role blends accounts payable and receivable tasks with regular contact with German-speaking clients and partners in a hybrid setup (4 days in office, 1 day remote).

You will work with SAP S/4HANA, support lease and property related accounting, and assist in operational reporting for shopping center financials.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience with SAP (SAP S/4HANA) is advantageous.
• German language proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Process accounting documents of foreign entities in SAP.
• Verify documents for allocation, completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare payments for international vendors in banking systems.
• Post bank statements and reconcile payments.
• Review and process payment reminders from foreign vendors.
• Reconcile balances with international suppliers.
• Communicate with banks, external vendors and internal departments abroad.
• Prepare periodic reports and participate in summary meetings in German or English.
• Enter lease agreements into the accounting system.
• Prepare and issue invoices to tenants in line with lease terms.
• Monitor payment deadlines and manage collections process.
• Post and reconcile incoming payments.
• Settle property operating costs.
• Support operational reporting for shopping center financials.
• Collaborate with leasing, legal and property management teams.
