Job summary

Pocketsquare is seeking an experienced Accountant in Warsaw to join the finance team. The role covers AP/AR or GL accounting with responsibilities across invoice processing, reconciliations, payments, and month-end close.

The candidate will work with SAP or other ERP systems, have strong Excel skills, and knowledge of IFRS/US GAAP. 2+ years of relevant experience and fluent English are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in AP, AR, or GL accounting.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or another ERP system (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• IFRS or US GAAP knowledge (GL track).
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Responsibilities

• AP/AR: process and verify invoices in SAP or similar ERP; reconcile accounts; prepare payments; support month-end close.
• GL: close for assigned entities; post journal entries (accruals, prepayments, intercompany); reconcile balance sheet; analyze variances; support external audits.
