Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a detail-oriented General Ledger Accountant for its German entity in Poland. The role focuses on month-end close, statutory reporting under HGB, and reconciliations, while coordinating with outsourced partners and tax advisors.

You will ensure audit-ready books under US GAAP and German GAAP, manage intercompany activity, and support process improvements in a fast-growing tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, ideally in GL, revenue accounting, or financial operations.
• Fluency in German and English, spoken and written, to manage statutory correspondence and audit interactions.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close: post journal entries, prepare accruals, and perform reconciliations.
• German Statutory Compliance: assist Jahresabschluss and liaise with Wirtschaftsprüfer and tax advisors.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: serve as internal contact for German entity ledger and collaborate with outsourced partners.
• Ad Hoc Support: assist with reporting, financial analysis, and process improvements.
