Job summary

GoMining is seeking a General Manager to own the platform direction end-to-end, aligning strategy, roadmap, delivery, and metrics with business goals.

You will lead Platform, Reliability, and AI-first engineering initiatives, balancing long-term architecture with revenue-impacting priorities. This role sits at the intersection of technology, product, and business, requiring hands-on leadership and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Experience leading platform/infra teams.
• Hands-on understanding of uptime, reliability, incidents, security, and high-load systems.
• Experience with authentication, authorization, shared services, or similar platform capabilities.
• Ability to balance technical priorities with immediate business needs.
• Strong product and commercial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy and roadmap for the GoMining platform.
• Build a scalable shared platform used by multiple product teams.
• Prioritize platform investments based on technical risk and business impact.
• Work directly with product General Managers and C-level stakeholders.
• Own uptime, availability, latency, and reliability; define SLAs and operational metrics.
• Lead the engineering team together with the Tech Lead; manage delivery and backlog.
• Develop and maintain shared design-system capabilities with Product and Design.
