Job summary

GoMining is seeking an Engineering Director to own the technology platform behind the GoMining ecosystem. This senior leadership role combines deep engineering expertise with strong product and business thinking to own the Platform end-to-end, including strategy, architecture, reliability, delivery, and its impact on the business.

You will partner with Product, Design, Security, and other engineering teams to ensure the platform enables growth, performance, and scale across multiple GoMining

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Bitcoin mining site operations or similar high-density data environments.
• Strong understanding of ASIC miner architecture, firmware, and diagnostics.
• Skilled in electrical and low-voltage systems, cabling, and power distribution.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (IP addressing, switches, monitoring tools).
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Own the technology strategy, architecture, and roadmap for the GoMining Platform.
• Build scalable shared infrastructure used across multiple products and engineering teams.
• Define which capabilities should be centralized at Platform level and which should remain within product teams.
• Drive major architectural and technical decisions and identify bottlenecks early.
• Own platform reliability, availability, latency, scalability, and operational performance.
