We are looking for an Engineering Director to own the technology platform behind the GoMining ecosystem.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who combines deep engineering expertise with strong product and business thinking.
You will own the Platform end-to-end — technology strategy, architecture, engineering organization, roadmap, reliability, delivery, and its impact on the wider business.
The Platform powers multiple GoMining products and includes core application infrastructure, authentication and authorization, integrations, shared services, analytics infrastructure, user restrictions, native applications, reliability, and other foundational capabilities.
This is not a role where success is measured simply by uptime, delivery, or engineering output.
We expect the Engineering Director to understand where technology creates or limits business value, make trade-offs between long-term architecture and immediate commercial priorities, and build a platform that allows the entire company to move faster.
Platform at GoMining is not an isolated infrastructure function.
You will work directly with product leaders, General Managers, and C-level stakeholders to understand where technology can unlock growth and where platform limitations are holding the business back.
Prioritize engineering initiatives based on technical risk and business impact.
Understand how platform decisions affect revenue, conversion, customer experience, and product velocity.
Identify technical changes that can unlock meaningful business results.
Balance competing priorities across multiple product teams.
Make clear trade-offs between speed, scalability, reliability, security, and business value.
Measure Platform not only through technical metrics, but through how effectively it accelerates the company.
Engineering Leadership
Lead and develop the Platform engineering organization.
Own team structure, hiring, performance, priorities, and execution.
Build a culture of strong engineering ownership and accountability.
Stay close enough to architecture and technology to challenge decisions and make informed trade-offs.
Develop strong technical leaders within the team.
Raise the technical and execution bar across the organization.
AI-First Engineering
Actively use AI tools and agents in your own work.
Introduce AI-assisted workflows across engineering, specifications, QA, analytics, and operations.
Identify opportunities to automate repetitive engineering work.
Use AI to increase engineering velocity and quality.
Build a team where AI becomes part of the engineering operating model.
Professional growth: support for courses, conferences, and English learning (up to 100% coverage).
Work-life fit: remote or hybrid format with flexible hours across international teams.
Paid leave: up to 20 vacation days + 8 company holidays + 5 personal days per year
Recognition programs: structured performance reviews and team awards.
Team culture: retreats in international locations (for example, company apartments in Cyprus).
