Job summary

InPost Kraków is seeking a Senior GL Accounting Manager to lead and develop a team of general ledger accountants. You will oversee month-, quarter-, and year-end closes, ensure GL integrity, and coordinate financial statements while driving improvements in processes and automation within the GL area.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting/finance, IFRS knowledge, and SAP experience, with the ability to lead and coach a team and collaborate across tax, Controlling, AP, and AR.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting/finance, including 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and IFRS.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Proven ability to manage and develop a team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines
• Ensure the integrity of the general ledger, including reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany transactions
• Coordinate the preparation of financial statements
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the GL function
• Collaborate closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Controlling, and Tax teams
• Liaise with external auditors and support the annual statutory audit process
• Monitor compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Support ERP system (SAP) maintenance and development from the accounting perspective
