Perrigouk is seeking a Senior GL Accountant to join our expanding Business Services Centre in Mokotów, Poland. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid model while contributing to General Ledger accounting activities.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree in Finance, strong experience in accounting within Shared Service Centres, and fluency in English and Polish. This position is designed for someone who values professional growth and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a similar role within Business Shared Service Centre structures.
• Prior participation in process transitions and transformations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute General Ledger accounting activities for a specific cluster.
• Perform tasks such as journal entry booking and account reconciliations.
• Contribute to the month-end close process in accordance with US GAAP.

Description Overview

Perrigo offers a great opportunity to join our growing Business Services Centre in Mokotów, which has been steadily expanding since its launch in mid‑2024. We are currently looking for a Senior GL Accountant to join our team. We currently work in a hybrid model: 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.

Scope of the Role

• Execute General Ledger accounting activities for a specific cluster and potentially designated countries or legal entities within Perrigo Services International Poland.
• Adhere to the guidelines outlined in the accounting manual, ensuring accurate cost centre and profit centre accounting, and the correct utilisation of GL accounts.
• Perform tasks such as journal entry booking, account reconciliations, intercompany account reconciliation, and contribute to financial close reporting in CFIN.
• Contribute to the completion of the month‑end close process, including posting entries in accordance with US GAAP.
• Assist in preparing statutory filings, unless these tasks have been outsourced, to ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations.

Experience Required

• Master’s Degree in Finance, Controlling or Accounting.
• Additional Accounting Certification would be a plus.
• Solid knowledge of Finance in general and General Ledger in particular.
• Extensive experience in a similar role within Business Shared Service Centre structures.
• Prior participation in process transitions and transformations is more than welcome.
• SAP Finance experience.
• Fluent in English and Polish.
• Good command of Excel; VBA is nice to have.
