Job summary

Michael Page is partnering with a global client to lead the transformation of a newly established Global Business Services in Poland. This senior role drives international transition waves, owns the end-to-end roadmap, and collaborates with GBS leadership and stakeholders to deliver on time and within scope.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in large-scale GBS/SSC transformations, strong delivery focus, and English communication excellence. Travel 40-60% across Europe (EMEA) is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading large-scale GBS/SSC/enterprise transformation programmes.
• Proven track record in international transitions and shared services initiatives.
• Experience in consulting, transformation, outsourcing or GBS environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into executable plans.
• ERP knowledge (SAP, MS Dynamics) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead transformation and migration for a newly established GBS in Poland.
• Drive multiple international transition waves across countries and functions.
• Own end-to-end transformation roadmap with risk, dependency & decision point tracking.
• Partner with GBS leadership, local entities and stakeholders to ensure delivery.
• Manage executive stakeholder relationships and resolve escalations.
• Facilitate discussions on scope, org design, service readiness and timing.
• Ensure operational readiness through knowledge transfer, governance and controls.
• Drive transition outcomes including service continuity and benefits realization.
• Provide executive reporting on progress, risks and readiness.
• Coach Process Managers and promote a strong transformation mindset.

Job Description

• Lead the transformation and migration agenda for a newly established Global Business Services organization in Poland.
• Drive multiple international transition waves across several countries, functions and stakeholder groups.
• Own and maintain the end‑to‑end transformation roadmap, identifying risks, dependencies and decision points well in advance.
• Partner closely with GBS leadership, functional teams, local entities and transition stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Manage executive‑level stakeholder relationships and proactively resolve escalations and competing priorities.
• Facilitate complex discussions regarding scope, organisational design, service readiness and transition timing.
• Ensure operational readiness through effective knowledge transfer, governance, controls and stabilisation planning.
• Drive successful delivery of transition outcomes, including service continuity, stakeholder adoption and benefits realisation.
• Provide clear executive reporting on programme progress, risks, critical decisions and overall transition readiness.
• Coach and support Process Managers and Coordinators while promoting a strong transformation mindset across the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

• 5+ years of experience leading large‑scale GBS, SSC, BPO or enterprise transformation programmes.
• Proven track record in international transitions and shared services transformation initiatives.
• Strong background in consulting, transformation, outsourcing or global business services environments will be highly valued.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders across functions and countries.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex transformation programmes and operating model changes.
• Strong leadership capabilities combined with a hands‑on and delivery‑focused approach.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into practical execution plans and measurable business outcomes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Experience working with multinational organisations and cross‑functional teams.
• Additional advantages include people leadership experience, ERP knowledge (enterprise solutions: SAP, MS Dynamics), project management certifications and additional European languages.
• Availability for company travel - 40-60% - EMEA (mostly EU)
