Job summary

Siemens Energy in Łódź is seeking a Layout Engineer to manage 2–3 projects in parallel, resolving technical issues with cross‑functional teams and explaining layouts to external customers. You will model layouts in 3D and generate drawings for internal partners and clients.

We expect a Bachelor in mechanical or civil engineering, several years of plant engineering and gas turbine experience, and proficiency with 3D tools such as Open Plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in mechanical or civil engineering or comparable degree.
• Several years of experience in plant engineering and gas turbine power plants.
• Proficiency with 3D modeling tools such as Open Plant or equivalent.
• Strong German and English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Layout concepts for gas turbine packages in the project/R&D team.
• Plan and model equipment in a 3D tool environment and extract layout and assembly drawings.
• Coordinate with global fields and external vendors/customers.
• Review detailed design of main mechanical components and enclosures for layout aspects.
• Ensure accessibility, escape routes and hazardous area compliance.
