Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in process engineering or mechanical engineering.
• Several years of professional experience with valve & actuator technology.
• Experience in a process industry environment (power generation, oil and gas) is beneficial.
• Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken.
• Analytical mindset and systematic work approach.
• Understanding customer requirements, developing concepts and solutions.
• Willingness to jointly develop innovative solutions in interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the auxiliaries’ systems.
• Qualify possible suppliers for process engineering components (valves & actuators), check technical feasibility and manufacturing possibilities.
• Responsibility for supplier selection, reviews, and execution of the first project.
• R&D budget and schedule responsibility.
• Preparation of standard documents and specifications (incl. drawings, calculation tools, data sheets, system piping & instrumentation diagrams, I&C, etc.).
• Perform cross-functional interface clarification with internal and external parties (e.g., supplier, customer, engineering network).
• Be part of an inspiring team of engineers in global team.
