Job summary

Capco Poland is seeking a React/Java Full Stack Engineer to join the Global Asset Servicing Platform team. This hands‑on role provides end‑to‑end ownership of features, including development and test automation with Cucumber end‑to‑end tests.

The ideal candidate will excel in Java backend and modern React frontend, with full‑stack capabilities to build scalable, reliable, and user‑friendly applications. Collaboration with product managers in an Agile setting is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java and React with strong JUnit testing experience.
• Experience with Ruby scripting for test automation and Cucumber end‑to‑end tests.
• Knowledge of multithreading, parallel processing, and real‑time messaging.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features using Java and React.
• Build responsive frontend applications with ReactJS.
• Develop and integrate APIs and web services.
• Write clean unit tests (JUnit) alongside your code.
• Contribute to automated test framework using Ruby and Cucumber.
• Write Ruby step definitions and Cucumber feature files for end‑to‑end tests.
• Write automated tests for features developed by other engineers.
• Champion test‑first approach for reliable, scalable code.
• Apply performance testing with JMeter when required.
• Ensure instrumentation and logging for monitoring.
• Analyse and debug issues and propose fixes.
• Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and with product managers.
