Job summary

A leading global professional services firm in Kraków is seeking an FP&A Team Manager to lead a dedicated team of analysts. The position involves managing financial operations, providing accurate forecasts, and optimizing financial results. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Finance or Accounting, with 3-4 years of relevant experience, fluent English, and skills in leadership and team management. Qualifications

  • 3 to 4 years of experience in Finance and Accounting or SSC/BPO industry.
  • Previous FP&A experience, preferably with a large multinational.
  • Fluent English is a must.
  • Experience in an international environment.
  • Experience leading a team in a fast-changing environment.
  • Fluent English is a must.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Willing to learn and grow qualifications; Workday/TM1 knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a dedicated team of FP&A analysts.
  • Drive continuous process improvement in financial operations.
  • Own the completion of Month End Close, Forecast, and Budget.
  • Manage team scope, workload and ad-hoc requests.
  • Drive process improvements and standardisation to increase efficiency.
  • Ensure SLAs and KPIs are met and reported.
  • Represent FP&A CoE in meetings with clients and steering groups.
  • Participate in regular operational review calls with business partners.
  • Champions standardisation across the CoE and client finance.
  • Provide ongoing training and identify performance improvement opportunities.

FP&A Team Manager

Overview/Description:

The FP&A team is responsible for supporting and partnering with operations to provide reliable and accurate financial information and forecasts to support decision making and optimize financial results. The FP&A Team Manager will be responsible for managing a dedicated team of FP&A analysts and partnering with business leaders and business partners to deliver relevant and accurate financial analysis.

What the day will look like
  • Act as a leader to the dedicated FP&A team (6‑10 FTEs), including recruiting, developing, and retaining a highly skilled and engaged workforce capable of delivering excellent financial controls and business
  • Owning the completion of high‑quality and timely Month End Close, Forecast, Budget, Ops Packs
  • Maintaining relationship with client finance and business departments
  • Manage team’s scope, workload and ad‑hoc requests
  • Driving and supporting continuous process improvement and standardisation in order to increase efficiency
  • Ensure delivery against agreed Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators
  • Acting as a point of contact for client finance departments and multi‑function business leaders
  • Representing the FP&A CoE in meetings with internal and external customers, steering groups and other client functions
  • Participate in regular operational review calls with business partners and business leaders
  • Act as a champion of standardisation within the team and across the CoE and client finance
  • Ongoing training of team members
  • Identifying and resolving recurring performance problems and improvement opportunities
Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • University degree/professional qualification in Finance or Accounting
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in Finance and Accounting or SSC/BPO industry
  • Previous FP&A experience (with a large multinational would be an advantage)
  • Experience of working in an international environment
  • Experience in managing a team in a fast‑changing environment would be an advantage
  • Transition experience is desirable
  • Fluent English is a must
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with good verbal/written communication, interpersonal and organization skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willing to learn and increase his/her qualifications
  • Knowledge of Workday and TM1 would be an asset
