Job summary

Alt Platform Inc is seeking a founding Growth Engineer to transform experiments into instrumented, repeatable systems across buyers and sellers. You will own the funnel end to end, build scalable growth levers, and partner with the founder and Head of Marketing to drive unique submissions.

This role focuses on activation funnel instrumentation, responsible channel selection, and a unified analytics stack, enabling measurable growth and robust lifecycle messaging across channels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years engineering experience with strong backend (Python, Postgres, AWS) and frontend (React, TypeScript) chops.
• Proven track record owning growth systems or product features from design to production.
• Fluency with growth tooling, analytics, experimentation, and lifecycle platforms.
• Sharp instinct for funnels and instrumentation and the ability to turn messy data into signal.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild the activation funnel end to end with instrumented steps and an experimentation loop.
• Identify and optimize acquisition channels that actually acquire on both sides of the marketplace.
• Stand up a unified data and attribution foundation and modernize the messaging stack.
• Turn push, in-app, email, and SMS into an owned, instrumented lifecycle infrastructure.
