Job summary

Apollo.io is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on the Growth team to drive rapid experimentation and scalable growth initiatives across the product. You will work at the intersection of engineering, product, marketing, and data science to implement automated, measurable improvements.

You will contribute to a high-impact stack including Ruby/RoR, React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and MongoDB, with cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of industry experience in frontend or full-stack development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React and at least one backend language (Ruby/RoR, Python, or Node.js).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute engineering strategies for rapid experimentation and data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing, Data Science, and Engineering to optimize growth metrics.
• Architect and build scalable systems supporting onboarding flows and viral loops.
• Implement A/B testing and data instrumentation for accurate experiment measurement.
• Leverage automation and ML to optimize user engagement and personalization.
• Produce clean, well-documented code and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
