Job summary

UPM is seeking a Process Controller for Fixed Assets & Leases in its Wrocław hub. You will ensure accounting controls, provide expertise on complex accounting matters, and oversee the performance of the outsourcing partner in Fixed Assets & leases processes.

You will contribute to end-to-end process improvements, participate in audits, and support various internal projects while collaborating with our Finance & Control team in Poland.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SAP, particularly Fixed Assets & leases
• Strong analytical and reporting skills using Power BI and Excel
• Well-developed process management, organizational and prioritization skills with proactive problem-solving
• Able to lead or support change initiatives and drive continuous improvements
• Capable of independent decision-making aligned with policies and business goals
• Fluent in English; extra languages are a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field with 2+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and compliance with internal controls, policies and legal requirements in accounting and reporting
• Provide expertise in complex accounting, compliance and reporting to stakeholders and service providers
• Oversee outsourcing partner’s performance in Fixed Assets & leases processes, ensuring reporting quality and efficiency
• Contribute to end-to-end improvements of Fixed Assets & leases processes, reporting services and tools; support audit topics
• Contribute to projects and process development initiatives to enhance quality and adoption
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager
