Sii Poland is seeking an experienced FinOps/Cloud Optimization Analyst to join the cloud operations team in Kraków. You will focus on cloud logging, monitoring and cost optimisation across AWS, Azure, and GCP, analyse logging consumption, identify savings opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations with financial impact assessments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on multi-cloud experience including production workloads.
• Proficient with CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and GCP Cloud Logging.
• Ability to analyze log data using KQL, SQL, BigQuery, and CloudWatch Logs Insights.
• Experience designing logging strategies, retention and cost controls.
• Strong communication to explain findings to technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for an experienced FinOps / Cloud Optimization Analyst to join the cloud operations team. In this role, you will focus on cloud logging, monitoring, cost optimisation across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments. You will analyse logging consumption, identify savings opportunities, optimise retention strategies and storage usage, and provide actionable recommendations supported by financial impact assessments. Working with both technical and business stakeholders, you will help improve cloud efficiency, governance and operational excellence while ensuring security and compliance requirements are met.

Your tasks

• Operating across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and analysing logging usage and costs
• Using cloud-native logging and monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor and GCP Cloud Logging
• Analysing log data with KQL, SQL, BigQuery and CloudWatch Logs Insights to identify issues and trends
• Designing logging strategies including log collection, routing, retention and compliance requirements
• Optimising logging and storage costs through retention tuning, filtering and tiered storage
• Preparing savings recommendations with estimated business impact and cost reductions
• Communicating findings and recommendations to both technical teams and business stakeholders

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), including supporting and operating production workloads
• Knowledge of cloud logging and monitoring tools, such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor or GCP Cloud Logging
• Ability to analyse log data using tools like KQL, SQL, BigQuery or CloudWatch Logs Insights
• Understanding of logging architecture, including retention, routing and compliance requirements
• Experience optimising cloud logging and storage costs
• Ability to prepare optimisation recommendations and cost-saving proposals
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical findings to different audiences
• Advanced level of English
