CloudFerro is seeking an experienced financial controller to join our finance team in Warsaw. The role focuses on preparing and validating P&L, balance sheets, cash flows, and working capital analyses, while enhancing procedures in month-end close and internal controls.

You will build financial models, analyze variances, and support budgeting and forecasting with advanced Excel and Power BI. Collaboration with internal stakeholders and external auditors is essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or Data Analytics.
• 6+ years in financial controlling or financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements and their reconciliation.
• Experience with working capital and cash flow analysis.
• Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
• Experience using BI tools, especially Power BI.
• Very good command of English (B2/C1).

Responsabilités

• Prepare recurring financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Working Capital analyses).
• Update and develop procedures in finance and controlling (month-end close, reporting, workflows, internal controls).
• Develop financial models including liquidity and risk management (Excel and Power BI).
• Analyze variances vs budgets/forecasts and provide recommendations to Management Board.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Build unit cost analyses and project profitability assessments.
• Reconcile data between accounting and management reporting (Webcon BPS).
• Assess financial aspects of contracts and their impact on liquidity.
• Participate in financial audits and prepare documentation for external auditors.
• Identify opportunities to optimise financial processes and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal accounting and business stakeholders.
• Prepare data, presentations, and analyses to support decision-making.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the preparation and verification of recurring financial reports, including the Profit & Loss Statement (P&L), Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, and Working Capital analyses.
• Updating and developing procedures and policies within the finance and controlling area (including month-end closing processes, reporting, document workflows, and internal controls).
• Developing financial modelling processes, including liquidity management, financial risk management, and financing cost optimisation (building models in Excel and Power BI).
• Analyzing and explaining variances against budgets and forecasts, while preparing recommendations for the Management Board.
• Participating in budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
• Building unit cost analyses and project profitability assessments.
• Reconciling data between accounting and management reporting, ensuring consistency and quality of financial data, including working within the Webcon BPS system.
• Assessing financial aspects of contracts, including their impact on the Company's financial results and liquidity.
• Participating in financial audits and preparing documentation for external auditors.
• Taking a proactive and analytical approach to reviewing financial processes, identifying opportunities for optimisation and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Contributing to projects aimed at improving financial performance and overall organisational efficiency.
• Collaborating closely with the internal accounting team and business stakeholders across the Company.
• Preparing data, presentations, and analyses to support organisational decision-making.

• Hold a university degree in a relevant field (preferred: Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or Data Analytics).
• Have at least 6 years of experience in a similar role, financial controlling, or financial reporting.
• Possess strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement structures (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement), with the ability to reconcile them effectively.
• Have experience with working capital and cash flow analysis.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Have strong experience using controlling and business intelligence tools for planning and data analysis, particularly Power BI.
• Have a very good command of English (B2/C1 level).
• Are self-driven, detail-oriented, and reliable in task execution.
• Can effectively collaborate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Are open to working in a hybrid model, with a minimum of three days per week from our Warsaw office.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of IFRS and experience working with reporting under different accounting standards.
• Familiarity with Optima ERP and Webcon BPS.
• Experience in designing or improving financial procedures and period-end closing processes.
• Experience working with external auditors or within an audit firm.
• Experience in management reporting within a rapidly growing organisation.
