Job summary

Xebia in Wroclaw is seeking a Financial Controller to join the Finance team, reporting to the Head of Financial Controlling. You will own the numbers behind service lines: project profitability, utilization, and margin—turning data into decision-ready analyses for leadership teams.

You will also shape the evolving reporting environment, contribute to budgeting/forecasting, and support cash flow forecasting. Fluent English and Polish, 3+ years in FP&A, and advanced Excel/BI skills are required.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in financial controlling, FP&A, or similar analytical finance role.
Proven experience in services/project controlling – profitability, utilization, or margin analysis.
Advanced MS Excel (modeling, formulas, pivot tables) and hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Power Query, SQL).
Fluent English (B2+); Polish fluency required.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
High attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Supporting monthly management reporting and preparation of inputs for leadership reviews.
Contributing to budgeting and forecasting, including variance analysis against budget/forecast.
Participating in cash flow forecasting and working-capital optimization initiatives.
Building and improving reporting models and dashboards in Excel and BI tools.
Collaborating with Accounting during month-end close to ensure data accuracy.
Tracking KPIs for the services business and supporting new financial tools implementation.
Designing and rolling out a new financial reporting system with standardized metrics.
Preparing ad hoc analyses for Head of Financial Controlling and senior management.
