Job summary

Kingfisher plc is seeking a finance professional to support Month End Closing in the Group Commercial Team. You will provide ad-hoc analytics, reporting and consultations to guide business decisions, and assist with standardization and project improvements.

The role requires 2+ years in financial reporting or related finance functions, a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Mathematics, and strong English. IFRS knowledge and familiarity with SAP or similar systems are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, audit or similar finance function.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting and/or Mathematics.
• Very good written and spoken English.
• Basic understanding of IFRS or local GAAP.
• Familiarity with HFM, Hyperion, MS Office, SAP or other financial systems.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Participation in Month End Closing in Group Commercial Team.
• Providing ad-hoc analytics, reporting and consultations to support business decisions.
• Supporting various projects including standardization and improvements.
• Performing variance analysis and commentary.
• Preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports.
• Preparation of reports for the needs of stakeholders.

What you'll bring
