Job summary

Kingfisher in Kraków designs and delivers Power BI data models and reports for the Commercial team. You will collaborate with data engineering and business stakeholders to ensure data quality, adoption, and continuous improvement of BI solutions.

The role requires minimum 3 years of BI experience with Power BI, strong SQL and data modelling knowledge, and English proficiency (B2). We offer a hybrid work setup in Krakow with a comprehensive benefits package and training opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Design and develop data models and reports in Microsoft Power BI.
  • Translate business requirements into analytical solutions, including requirements documentation.
  • Prepare, optimize, and maintain SQL queries.
  • Prepare and cleanse available data sources, including Excel files.
  • Ensure data quality through validation.
  • Collaborate with Data engineering teams on data integration.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and deliver solutions iteratively based on feedback.
  • Apply development standards, including version control, documentation, governance, and security.
  • Support user enablement through training materials and user support.
  • Work in agile framework, including planning, prioritization, and sprint-based delivery.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in delivering BI solutions using Power BI.
  • Good knowledge of SQL and data modelling concepts.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders and translate business needs into documented requirements.
  • Relationship building and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Strong communication skills and active listening.
  • Collaboration and communication within cross-functional teams.
  • Proactiveness and ownership of assigned deliverables.
  • Attention to detail and quality.
  • English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
  • Minimum secondary education.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint or Confluence and technical documentation standards.
  • Experience with Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric data platforms.

Purpose of the role: This role designs and delivers Power BI data models and reports that turn business requirements into reliable, high-quality dashboarding applications for Kingfisher’s Commercial team. Working closely with data engineering and business stakeholders across the Group to ensure data quality, adoption, and continuous improvement of BI solutions.
