Job summary
Kingfisher plc in Kraków is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join our finance team. You will participate in budgets, forecasts, and business plans while delivering ad-hoc analytics to support strategic decisions.
The role focuses on turning financial data into actionable insights and leading projects to standardize processes. You will work on end-to-end month-end closing, preparing monthly reports, and communicating outcomes to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Over 3 years of proven experience in financial analysis, controlling, audit or similar related finance function (desirable).
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to derive conclusions from financial data and communicate insights clearly.
Responsibilities
- Participation in the preparation process of budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
- Providing ad-hoc analytics/reporting/consultations to support business decisions.
- Creating value from converting financial data into business insights.
- Leading different projects including standardization and improvements.
- Performing variance analysis and commentary.
- Preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports.
- Preparation of reports for the needs of various stakeholders.
- End to end month-end closing process.

- Ability to derive conclusions from financial data,
- Great communication and relationship building skills,
- At least Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting and/or Mathematics
- Basic understanding of IFRS or local GAAP
- Familiarity with Power BI, Hyperion, MS Office, SAP, other financial systems, and databases will be an asset
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
