Job summary

BD Polska seeks a Financial Accountant to manage financial records, close processes, and reporting for Poland and CEE entities. Collaboration with regional finance teams and auditors is essential, with emphasis on Polish GAAP and US GAAP and SAP S/4HANA proficiency.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in financial accounting, strong analytical skills, and fluency in Polish and English. You will contribute to accurate reporting and drive improvements within a global finance function.

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance.
• 5–10 years of experience in financial accounting, including month-end and year-end close activities.
• Experience with Polish GAAP and US GAAP; familiarity with VAT, CIT and WHT.

Responsibilities

• Manage reporting and month-end close processes to corporate and local entities.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements and support audits (EY) and tax advisors.
• Prepare financial data, reports and documentation for auditors and authorities; monitor regulatory changes.
