Daftcode is a technology group driving growth through an analytical approach to business. We seek a Finance Specialist to maintain day-to-day finance operations, handling invoices, payments and reporting across the group.

The role offers a hybrid work model from our Warsaw office on the 40th floor of Warsaw Spire, with a salary range of 7 500 - 10 000 PLN gross depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience handling invoice flow from verification to booking and payments.
• Proficiency in preparing recurring and ad hoc financial reports.
• Managing accounts payable processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Experience with intercompany settlements and invoicing within a group.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-moving startup.

Responsibilities

• Owning the invoice flow - verifying, approving and booking incoming invoices, and executing payments.
• Handling day-to-day operations in the system.
• Preparing reports for management: recurring financial reporting as well as ad hoc analyses.
• Managing company car fleet - contracts, settlements and related tasks.
• Owning intercompany settlements and invoicing between group entities; implementing solutions to optimize the ecosystem.

As a venture builder, it creates, scales and invests in startups in such areas as: Deep Tech, FinTech, InsurTech, Cyber Security and Blockchain, among others. The company offers its startups tech and business support, which facilitates market launch and growth of new companies. Daftcode works with individual startup founders, early-stage projects and existing startups looking for financing rounds or support in commercialization and business scaling.

We're looking for a Finance Specialist who will keep our day-to-day finance operations running smoothly and become the go-to person for invoices, payments and reporting across the group.

We offer position with a salary range of 7 500 - 10 000 PLN gross, depending on your experience and preferred form of cooperation.
We work in a hybrid model from our Warsaw office.

Your responsibilities:

• Owning the invoice flow - verifying, approving and booking incoming invoices, and executing payments
• Handling day-to-day operations in the system
• Preparing reports for management: recurring financial reporting as well as ad hoc analyses when decisions need numbers behind them
• Managing our company car fleet - contracts, settlements and everything in between
• Owning intercompany settlements and invoicing between group entitiesimplement solutions that optimize our overall ecosystem.
• 2-5 years of experience in finance, ideally gained in a startup environment
• Accuracy and a sharp eye for detail - you catch inconsistencies before anyone else does, and "close enough" is not in your vocabulary
• Flexibility and openness - you'll be working with a fast-moving, dynamic team, and priorities can shift quickly
• Comfort in roles with a broad scope and a high level of ownership - you don't wait to be told what needs to happen next

Nice to Have :

• Experience in fintech or crypto - you understand the specifics of the industry and it doesn't scare you
