Michael Page is recruiting for a Finance Manager for an international financial services client. The role leads financial reporting, close processes, and supports finance transformation across regions.

You will mentor a finance team, drive processes, partner with senior stakeholders, and ensure compliance across jurisdictions with IFRS, US GAAP/UK GAAP knowledge as a plus. This is a role with high visibility and strategic impact.

Qualifications

  • 5-8+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial reporting.
  • Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Strong IFRS knowledge; exposure to US GAAP and/or UK GAAP would be an advantage.
  • Previous leadership or people management experience.
  • Solid experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and month-end close activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of entity and consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Prepare financial analyses, management reports, and board reporting materials.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
  • Oversee complex accounting transactions, including capital-related entries, corporate allocations, and goodwill accounting.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Assess the impact of new accounting standards and provide recommendations to the business.
  • Support the development and enhancement of accounting policies, controls, and procedures.
  • Coordinate external audit activities and ensure timely resolution of audit queries.
  • Partner with local and international finance teams to maintain consistent accounting practices across the group.
  • Support tax and regulatory compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives, automation projects, and finance transformation activities.
  • Collaborate with senior finance leadership on strategic and ad hoc financial analyses.
