Job summary

Belden Inc. is seeking an Accountant to join our finance team supporting an international manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for financial reporting, accounting processes, month-end closing activities, tax reporting, and cooperation with local and international stakeholders.

The position offers a broad scope of responsibilities and the opportunity to work closely with both operational and finance teams across Europe, with a hybrid working model and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Several years of accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Knowledge of Poland tax law and accounting principles.
• Experience with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Business level English (at least B2).
• Knowledge of SAP and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Managing daily accounting and financial reporting activities
• Preparation of month-end closing and support in year-end closing process
• Assistance in preparing financial statements
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and financial analyses
• Monitoring and reconciling intercompany transactions
• Preparing monthly variance analysis and management reports
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
• Preparing monthly P&L reports for management
• Preparing weekly cash flow forecasts
• Coordinating selected accounting processes with SSC and international teams
• Working in the SAP system (postings, reporting)
• Preparing VAT declarations and tax reporting packages
• CIT Tax Preparation
• Taking care of KSEF application
• Supporting annual audits and cooperation with external auditors
• Supporting payroll reporting and employee expense administration
• Preparing Intrastat and statistical reports
• Delivering ad hoc financial analyses and reports

Our Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Several years of experience in accounting or financial reporting
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Knowledge of accounting principles in Poland and polish tax law
• Experience with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Good analytical and numerical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a dynamic environment
• Experience in an international company will be an advantage
• Business level English (at least B2)
• Knowledge of SAP and MS Excel
