Job summary

HTD Health is a strategy and technology consultancy with global offices and a mission to humanize healthcare. We seek an early-mid career professional in accounting or payroll to support financial processes and HR operations.

You will handle invoices, closings, payroll data, and onboarding/offboarding while working with MS Excel and Google Workspace. This role offers 100% remote work with international flexibility across Poland and the US.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of professional experience in accounting or payroll.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• English at least B2 level (required).
• Open to civil-law contract or fixed-term employment contract.
• HR experience and knowledge of labor law.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing flow of financial documents: entering, monitoring, and tracking cost invoices.
• Assist with monthly financial closing procedures.
• Perform day-to-day financial tasks in MS Excel.
• Prepare documentation for establishing, amending, and terminating civil-law contracts and employment relationships.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of employees.
• Prepare payroll input data and coordinate salary payments.
• Administer employee benefits.
• Prepare reports, analyses, and KPIs for the organization.
• Handle day-to-day employee matters.
• Act as a backup for the HR team.

• 2-4 years of professional experience, ideally in accounting or payroll
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• English at a minimum B2 level (required)
• Openness to either a civil-law contract (umowa zlecenie) or a fixed-term employment contract (maternity/parental leave cover)
• HR experience and knowledge on labour low
• Familiarity with Google Workspace

Your daily life in HTD will be focusing around:

• Supporting the ongoing flow of financial documents – entering, monitoring, and tracking cost invoices
• Assisting with monthly financial closing procedures
• Working in MS Excel on day-to-day financial tasks
• Preparing documentation related to establishing, amending, and terminating employment relationships and civil-law contracts (Poland, Argentina, US)
• Coordinating the onboarding and offboarding process for employees
• Preparing payroll input data and coordinating the salary payment process
• Administering employee benefits
• Preparing reports, analyses, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the organization
• Handling day-to-day employee matters
• Acting as a backup for the HR team

SCREENING CALL

We will invite you to a 1-hour screening call. We’ll be most interested in getting to know you better.

ENGLISH AUDIT

We will send you an invitation to perform an English language audit. We will send the finished report to you.

TECHNICAL INTERVIEW

We will invite you to an online technical interview that will last between one to two hours. We will mainly ask you about your studies and technical skills.

FINAL DECISION WITH FEEDBACK

Candidates from the Technical Interview step will receive feedback about their performance. The selected candidate who met our requirements and successfully completed the recruitment process will receive an offer.
