Job summary

ASBIS is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead the finance function of our retail business (consumer electronics) across European markets.

You will own P&L, drive budgeting and forecasting, optimize working capital, ensure IFRS reporting and internal controls, and partner with commercial teams on pricing and expansion. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in finance with leadership, strong IFRS knowledge, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in finance with leadership roles.
• Finance background in retail, electronics, FMCG, or distribution.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting, audit, and tax compliance.
• Solid FP&A and commercial finance expertise.
• Retail KPIs knowledge: gross margin, sell-through, inventory turnover.
• Experience in multi-country European environment is a plus.
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach.
• Good knowledge of English.

• Optimize working capital (inventory, cash flow, stock efficiency)
• Secure and manage financing facilities to support business growth
• Partner with commercial teams on pricing, promotions, and expansion initiatives
• Ensure accurate reporting (IFRS) and strong internal controls

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in finance, including leadership roles
• Proven finance background in retail, consumer electronics, FMCG, or distribution
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, IFRS, statutory reporting, audit, and tax compliance, combined with solid FP&A and commercial finance expertise
• Solid understanding of retail KPIs (gross margin, sell-through, inventory turnover)
• Experience in multi-country European environment is a plus
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach
• Good knowledge of English
