Job summary

ASBIS is seeking a Marketing Director to drive go-to-market and trade marketing for Accessories & Peripherals across EMEA. You will plan and execute brand and channel campaigns, manage vendor MDF budgets, and drive sell-out, brand visibility, and measurable return on marketing spend.

The role requires proven regional sales experience across IT/consumer electronics, extensive travel, and strong channel relationships. Competitive salary and multinational collaboration are offered.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in regional sales or business development within IT, consumer electronics, or accessories distribution.
  • Fluent English; knowledge of Russian and regional languages would be an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver revenue, gross profit, margin and sell-out targets for Central Asia & the Caucasus through ASBIS local entities and channel partners.
  • Develop and manage distributor, retailer and marketplace partnerships; expand distribution footprint and range width.
  • Build and execute the territory go-to-market plan by country, channel and brand group, aligned with the Commercial Director and BDMs.
  • Execute pricing, discount and promotion within approved frameworks and approval limits; protect margin and price integrity.
  • Drive sell-out and stock rotation with partners and Demand Planning; manage order sizing and replenishment to avoid ageing and excess.
  • Manage by data: territory pipeline, partner performance and reporting by country, channel and brand; flag risks and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with BDMs and Marketing on brand priorities, launches and trade support in the territory.

About the position:

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in regional sales or business development within IT, consumer electronics, or accessories distribution.
  • Experience managing and developing business across Central Asia and the Caucasus, including strong relationships with local channel partners.
  • Strong channel management skills across distribution, retail, and marketplaces, with the ability to own individual revenue and GP targets.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, order planning, sell-out, and margin management.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
  • Fluent English; knowledge of Russian and regional languages would be an advantage.

Finance perspective Weight: 25%
  • MDF budget utilization and adherence (committed vs actual vs plan)
  • Return on marketing spend (ROMI) vs target
Customers (marketing) Weight: 40%
  • Sell-out uplift from campaigns vs baseline
  • Channel & marketplace placement and content coverage
  • Campaign reach, engagement and qualified leads vs target
Internal processes (operations) Weight: 20%
  • Campaigns and launches delivered on time and on budget
  • MDF claims reconciled with vendors within SLA
  • Content / PIM completeness for listed SKUs (%)
Learning & Development (competences) Weight: 15%
  • Marketing / platform certifications completed (digital, marketplace)
