Job summary

Schneider Electric is hiring a Business Finance Analyst in Warsaw. You will partner with Global Supply Chain, transforming data into actionable insights to optimize manufacturing and logistics activities and support strategic decisions across the organization.

You will monitor performance, drive cost management, and improve financial visibility to enable efficiency and sustainable growth. The role requires strong analytical skills, English proficiency, and experience in finance projects.

Qualifications

  • Experience in controlling/financial analysis/finance projects
  • Degree in finance/accounting/statistics/mathematics or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical mindset and curiosity
  • Ability to interact with business leaders at various levels
  • Proactive ownership and accountability
  • Ability to organize and articulate complex financial information
  • Attention to detail and risk/opportunity flagging
  • Can-do mindset with multiple stakeholders and BI tools

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely period-end closing activities
  • Report monthly and quarterly results in ERP/EPM systems and analyze figures
  • Input data, maintain, and develop BI reports
  • Collaborate with Finance Controllers in data analysis
  • Provide granular data from multiple systems for analysis
  • Improve processes and increase automation
  • Participate in quarterly and yearly campaigns including rolling forecast preparation

Your Impact

As a Business Finance Analyst, you will be a trusted financial partner for Global Supply Chain (GSC) teams, transforming data into actionable insights that support operational excellence. Through financial analysis, cost management, and performance monitoring you will help optimize manufacturing and logistics activities, improve financial visibility, and support strategic decision‑making across the organization. Your work will directly contribute to driving efficiency, profitability, and sustainable business growth.

Your Responsibilities
  • Ensure comprehensive, accurate and timely performance of period‑end closing activities in line with company requirements
  • Report monthly and quarterly results in ERP/EPM systems and analyze the figures
  • Data input, maintenance, and contribution to development of reports in the Business Intelligence tool
  • Provide close collaboration with Business Finance Controllers in analyzing reported data
  • Dig into different systems to provide more granular data for analysis and reports
  • Improve processes and use of tools: leverage system capabilities, increase automation, and deliver efficiencies
  • Active participation in quarterly and yearly campaigns, including rolling forecast preparation
Your Profile
  • Relevant experience in controlling/financial analysis/finance projects
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, statistics, mathematics, or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical mindset and curiosity
  • Good collaboration skills and ability to interact with business leaders at various levels
  • Personal accountability and ownership
  • Capacity to organize, summarize, and articulate complex financial information for decision making
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify issues or inconsistencies, flagging risks and opportunities
  • Strong can‑do mentality and drive to accomplish tasks in an environment with multiple stakeholders and BI tools
  • Proficient in English
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, Power Pivot, data modelling, and reusable calculations/measurements
  • Passion for continuous improvement and change management
  • Motivation to simplify, standardize, and continuously improve finance reporting processes
  • Ability to work with large datasets, validate data quality, and identify inconsistencies between systems
