Job summary

Schneider Electric in Warsaw offers a hybrid full-time Finance Controlling/Analysis role focused on accurate period-end closing, monthly/quarterly results, and BI-driven improvements.

You will collaborate with Business Finance Controllers, analyze performance drivers, and support forecasting with Rolling Forecasts, while enhancing automation and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in controlling/financial analysis/business analysis.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree (finance, accounting, statistics, mathematics or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and presentations skills.
• Strong analytical mindset and curiosity.
• Good collaboration and ability to interact with business leaders at various organization levels.
• Ability to work with personal accountability and ownership.
• Ability to organize, summarize and articulate complex financial information for decision making.
• Attention to details and ability to identify issues or inconsistencies, flagging risks and opportunities.
• Strong can-do mentality and ability to accomplish tasks in an environment with multiple stakeholders and BI tools.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including Power Query, Power Pivot & any other data modelling tool.
• Nice to have IDS experience.
• Good English command.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accurate, complete, and timely execution of period-end closing activities in compliance with company policies and reporting requirements.
• Prepare, validate, and submit monthly and quarterly financial results in ERP and EPM systems, while providing insightful analysis of reported figures and key performance drivers.
• Maintain high-quality financial data and contribute to the development, enhancement, and automation of reporting solutions within BI tools.
• Partner closely with Business Finance Controllers to support financial reporting, performance analysis, and decision-making through reliable and actionable insights.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing processes, leveraging system capabilities, increasing automation, and delivering operational efficiencies.
• Actively participate in forecasting and planning cycles, including Rolling Forecasts.
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests to meet evolving business requirements and management needs

Your IMPACT:
