Your IMPACT
As a Technical Project Leader, you will play a key role in deploying standardized Building Management System (BMS) and Energy Management System (EMS) solutions across multiple countries. You will act as the technical authority for deployments, ensuring high-quality execution, adherence to global standards, and successful project delivery for customers worldwide.
Your Responsibilities
- Own and maintain global technical deployment standards, including technical playbooks, standard EBO applications, deployment guidelines, dashboard definitions, templates, and supporting documentation.
- Train and onboard country deployment teams on standard EMS/BMS solutions, deployment processes, documentation requirements, and best practices.
- Coordinate with global and regional stakeholders to prepare deployment environments, equipment templates, and technical configurations required for project execution.
- Configure customer portals and dashboards, ensuring proper equipment mapping, data integration, and visualization of building performance metrics.
- Provide technical leadership during deployment and commissioning activities, supporting country teams in resolving installation, integration, configuration, and system-performance issues.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities, coordinating escalations with internal teams, contractors, and product experts when required.
- Validate technical readiness before deployment, ensuring all infrastructure, integrations, network connectivity, cloud services, and system configurations are in place.
- Review technical documentation, including electrical drawings, network architectures, point lists, I/O schedules, and integration specifications.
- Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning activities, and final end-to-end system validation.
- Ensure complete project handover, including delivery of commissioning documentation, system backups, as-built documentation, issue logs, and training records.
- Manage technical deviations and country-specific requirements while maintaining compliance with global standards.
- Drive continuous improvement of deployment methodologies, tools, documentation, and training materials based on field experience.
Your Profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Building Automation Systems, Building Management Systems or Energy Management Systems deployments.
- Strong expertise in EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO) programming and configuration.
- Solid understanding of BMS/EMS architectures, HVAC systems, lighting controls, energy metering, and building-system integrations.
- Experience with commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting building automation systems in customer environments.
- Ability to interpret electrical and control documentation, including single-line diagrams, I/O drawings, wiring schematics, and control-panel documentation.
- Practical knowledge of field devices, controllers, gateways, meters, and industrial communication protocols.
- Good understanding of BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus TCP/RTU, and related integration technologies.
- Knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addressing, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, and NTP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience conducting root cause analyses using alarms, trends, logs, and system diagnostics.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with multicultural teams and manage multiple stakeholders in a global environment.
- Experience with EcoStruxure Building Activate and/or EcoStruxure Retail IMP will be considered a strong advantage.
- Fluent English and at least one additional European language.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
