Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Group AG is seeking a Quality Engineer for Failure Analysis in Jawor to join the Prevention, Failure Analysis & QM-System Team. You will analyze and correct product and process issues and drive corrective actions through to implementation and lessons learned.

You will coordinate information flow across production, engineering, development and plants worldwide, plan and manage projects in your area, and participate in quality approvals. Fluency in English is required, German a plus.

Qualifications

• Independently conduct complex analyses on product and process issues, initiate corrective actions and manage them through to implementation, effectiveness monitoring, and documenting lessons learned
• Coordinate error handling and ensure the flow of information with other departments, from production and engineering to development, as well as across plants (worldwide). Document these topics in the system
• Independent planning, management, and control of projects within your own area of responsibility
• Participate in the planning and execution of quality approvals
• Experience with Mercedes-Benz or other automotive products and processes (Bodyshop, Assembly) and knowledge of quality management tools

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the plant quality review committees, and synchronize these topics across departments and other plants worldwide
