Mercedes-Benz Vans in Poland invites a highly motivated Failure Analysis Process Engineer to strengthen the Quality Department at the Jawor site. You will analyze complex product and process issues, drive corrective actions, and monitor effectiveness across functions and plants worldwide.
You will coordinate error handling, plan and manage projects, and participate in quality approvals, leveraging your engineering background and strong collaboration skills to uphold premium quality in production.

Failure Analysis Process Engineer
Join our newly established Prevention, Failure Analysis & QM-System Team in the Quality Department.
Our team is responsible for analyzing and correcting failures in series production, quality approvals, and all topics related to the Quality System.We support these topics from analysis and development of corrective actions to effectiveness monitoring and lessons learned.
In addition, we lead and manage the plant quality review committees, and synchronize these topics across departments and other plants worldwide.
Task:
Independently conduct complex analyses on product and process issues, initiate corrective actions and manage them through to implementation, effectiveness monitoring, and documenting lessons learned
Coordinate error handling and ensure the flow of information with other departments, from production and engineering to development, as well as across plants (worldwide). Document these topics in the system
Independent planning, management, and control of projects within your own area of responsibility
Participate in the planning and execution of quality approvals
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Automotive Technology or a related field
Several years of professional experience in cross-departmental and cross-plant collaboration, particularly with the development departments, as well as in committee work
Fluent in English (German would be an advantage)
Experience with Mercedes-Benz or other automotive products and processes (Bodyshop, Assembly)
Knowledge of quality management tools
Analytical, strategic, and conceptual skills
Team spirit
