Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Vans, a part of Mercedes-Benz Group, is seeking a Production Process Engineer for the Body Shop in Jawor. You will drive stable, high-performance joining processes, focusing on Body-in-White operations and BIW technologies, with emphasis on quality and efficiency.

You will lead root-cause analysis, support equipment installation and ramp-up, and collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering to continuously improve process standards and performance metrics.

Qualifications

Bachelor level degree in Mechanical/Automotive/Production or Automation/Robotics.
2–3 years minimum experience in automotive manufacturing, preferably Body Shop/BIW.
Strong knowledge of joining technologies (e.g., Spot Welding).
Experience with data-driven process control (SPC) and analytical problem-solving.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

Ensure stable, high-performance production processes meeting cycle times and quality targets.
Drive structured problem solving with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Support installation, ramp-up, and commissioning of advanced production systems.
Develop and refine process standards, specs and best practices.
