Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland sp. z o. o. seeks a Production Process Engineer for the Body Shop in Jawor. You will ensure stable, high-performance joining processes, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate across Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to sustain top quality and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in automotive BIW/Body Shop, a solid grasp of SPC, lean principles, and strong problem-solving abilities, with a hands-on, data-driven mindset.

Competenze

• Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Production, or Automation/Robotics.
• 2–3+ years of automotive manufacturing experience, preferably in Body Shop/BIW.
• Strong knowledge of joining technologies and technical drawings.
• Experience with data-driven process control (SPC) and analytical problem-solving.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Structured, solution-oriented thinking and strong analytical skills.

For our state-of-the-art plant in Jawor, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Process Engineer to join our Body Shop team and play a key role in driving excellence in joining technologies. Your Mission In this role, you will ensure stable, high-performance production processes while continuously advancing quality, efficiency, and innovation within the Body-in-White environment.

Ensure reliable and efficient production processes, meeting defined cycle times and quality targets

Lead structured problem-solving activities, including root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions

Support installation, ramp-up, and commissioning of advanced production systems

Develop and continuously refine process standards, specifications, and best practices

Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process stability and product quality

Analyze production and quality data to derive insights and support performance management

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Production Engineering, or Automation/Robotics

Proven experience (min. 2–3 years) in automotive manufacturing, ideally within Body Shop / BIW processes

Solid understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and joining technologies (e.g., Spot Welding)

Experience in data-driven process control (SPC) and analytical problem-solving

Familiarity with modern production principles (Lean Manufacturing)

Strong analytical mindset, solution-oriented thinking, and structured working approach
