Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is hiring a Large CA Modules Fabrication Follow Engineer to support AP1000 module fabrication in Europe, including Poland. The role reports to the Large Modules Senior Manager and offers a hybrid work model with two days in the office, located in Krakow or Warsaw.

You will coordinate with supply chain, respond to RFIs, review shop drawings, and drive continuous improvement in fabrication processes while aligning with European and US nuclear standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural or mechanical engineering.
• Recently graduated or 1 year of experience in structural design.
• Knowledge of structural steel design and US codes preferred.
• Knowledge of welding design and AWS codes preferred.
• Experience with European and US nuclear quality standards and change control processes preferred.
• Ability to organize and delegate work with deliverables.
• Good teamwork and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support and oversight of large structural steel modules fabrication for AP1000 European and US plants.
• Drive continuous improvement of products, processes, and procedures to support fabrication of these modules.
• Work with the FFE Team, respond to fabricators' RFIs, review shop drawings, address non-conformance requests, and support module fabrication.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain Team, providing updates of tasks to support fabricators.
• Engage with partners, supply chain, and WEC senior management as required.
